   WHO AM I

My name is Martin, and I am your host. I am an avid LARPer who has been LARPing for close to 30 years. Most of that time has been spent on local or parlor LARPs, but in the past few years, I have ventured into the world of the International Blockbuster LARP, staring with Fairweather Manor in Poland two years ago. This was followed by Odysseus in Finland, then Outbound Hope in Michigan, followed by College of Wizardry in Poland, and finally Expedition: Sahara in the Sahara Desert in Tunisia.

Additionally, I heavily financed LARPS, including being the main financial backer for Legends of the Stars, which has had three adult runs as well as two youth runs, all on decommissioned US warships, a substantial backer for Outbound Hope, which also runs on a decommissioned US warship, and one of the top backers of the “Save College of Wizardry” Campaign.

I spend a great deal of time and finances on LARP because I genuinely enjoy stepping out of my regular job in Pharmaceuticals which is both high pressure, and stressful. LARP is an excellent way for me to de-stress.
